Semantic technologies such as RDF, OWL and SPARQL have emerged as powerful enablers for building ontology models and for reasoning about interlinked data.\nSemantic models built around RDF/OWL go beyond earlier modeling approaches (such as E-R or Object Oriented) by supporting relationships as first-class citizens. This means that inheritance can be applied not only to objects and entities but to the relationships that interconnect them. It also means that we can apply additional attributes and constraints to our relationships in ways that enable us to do more intelligent reasoning across interlinked data.\nIn this session we'll explore several domains from a relationship-centric perspective and demonstrate how an understanding of the underlying RDF/OWL relationship constructs can enhance your domain models and improve your ability to reason across the information space of your organization.
