However, today's usage of Linked Data providers such as DBpedia doesn't differ much from that of traditional APIs in the sense that users have to adapt to a specific provider's data structures and identifiers. In order to truly integrate Linked Data with an internal database or use multiple Linked Data sources in concert, further steps are necessary.\nStarting with common patterns for working with a single Linked Data source, this talk will show different strategies and common pitfalls encountered when integrating Linked Data. Specifically, it will discuss data access and update; vocabulary mapping; and identity resolution. It will compare different approaches to these steps and show how we tackle them using LDIF, a scalable open-source Linked Data Integration Framework for application developers.\nBullet points:\n? Linked Data vs. APIs\n? Data access and update\n? Vocabulary mapping: Why, what, approaches\n? Identity Resolution: Why, what, approaches\n? How we tackle these issues using LDIF
